Our Process
The process for pavers and hardscape is not complicated but having the right layout and the right base below will make all the difference in your project. Below is a brief breakdown of a paver walkway showing what you can expect undergoing project with Valley Concrete Designs.
Layout
After the design is finalized, the walkway is marked out and excavate
Excavation and Base
Grades are shot and the walkway is excavated to the necessary depth. It is then stoned and compacted.
Sand
Sand is the base that the pavers rest on. Creates a solid, flat base that in turn allow the pavers to form a uniform top surface.
Pavers and Polymeric Sand
The pavers are then cut and laid in a predetermined pattern. Polymeric sand is then added to fill and solidify all the joints in the pavers
